Growing Our Vision

Welcome to the future of sisterhood! In 2026, Delta Alpha Zeta proudly introduces the Jr. Delta Alpha Zeta  Jr Peacock Sorority, a vibrant community designed  for plus size individuals aged 17-21. Here, we celebrate diversity, empowerment, and self-love, fostering lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences. Join us as we spread our wings and embrace our true selves!

2025-2026 Initiatives

Community & Advocacy Organizations

  1. The National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (NAAFA) – Partner with or support this organization that fights against size discrimination and promotes body positivity.

  2. Body Positive Organizations – Collaborate with groups that focus on self-love, mental health, and dismantling fatphobia.

  3. Anti-Bullying Organizations – Work with schools or nonprofits that tackle bullying, especially weight-based bullying.

  4. Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) – Assist with advocacy efforts, fundraising, or educational events focused on weight stigma and health awareness.

Health & Wellness Initiatives

  1. Plus-Size Fitness & Wellness Centers – Host events promoting inclusive fitness and body-positive movement.

  2. Hospitals & Clinics – Partner with nutritionists and healthcare professionals to educate on holistic health, self-care, and mental well-being without fat shaming.
